First official Cross Fit class today! It went well. We did 2 minutes of jump roping (or 50 double unders, whichever you could do first) I cannot do double unders at all – finally stopped trying because all I was doing was whipping my shins, lol! The 40 Sit Ups, 30 Push Ups, 20 Hang Power Cleans, 10 Dead lifts (I used light weights since it was mu first class with barbells – good thing too because my form leaves much to be desired!) then back up to 20 HPCs, 30 PUs, 40 SUs and then 2 minutes of jump roping again. I did it in just over 20 minutes. It was actually a fun workout and I have felt more worn out after Boot Camp. I did use a 30 in box to do the push ups from; I can only do 5 from the floor!
Working on setting goals for the Paleo challenge. We get extra credit for working on up to 6 goals. I am thinking 1 goal would be weight/inches loss, 1 will be attendance (32 classes over the 8 weeks) and that leaves 4 fitness goals. One should be running a half mile or a mile continuously. Right now I can do 1/8! Another could be being able to do a double under. I will have to give some thought to the other two. I want good goals that challenge me, but don’t want them to be too hard or unreasonable.
